I hold myself accountable for the success of my business and I am also held to a standard by my mentor whom helps me with my business plan. My mentor will see tight me routinely to provide feedback and intervene as necessary to ensure my business is successful. |
| If successful, how would your project benefit the community? | I will assist young ladies to decrease depressive symptoms they may experience such as low self-worth and low self-confidence as a result of hair loss or issues with hair growth. Once running smoothly, I plan to mentor others that have similar career goals and have free workshops to assist young ladies in ways to take care of both their extensions as well as their natural hair. I want to use beauty as a form of coping and self-care to improve mental health. |
