Please Describe Your Project In DetailKrown Transitional Housing Solutions is an organization that provides transitional housing and life skill training for newly released men and women. It aids men and women, who may frequently become homeless, as they move from being dependent, with drug or criminal backgrounds and relationships, into becoming independent, self-sufficient lifestyles. This program is a twelve-step program to develop self-sufficient clients. The different elements of the program are:
1. Personal development planning.
2. Vocational development including high school diploma.
3. Substance abuse prevention.
4. Interpersonal skill development.
5. Personal and spiritual development.
6. Community involvement.
7. Creative leisure activities/celebration.
8. Independent living preparation/follow up.
Krown Transitional is a men and women facility. It is of significant value to know that the clients will live in separate living quarters as this arrangement eliminates the possibility of sexual abuse from the opposite sex within the system.
