Please Describe Your Project In DetailI am a single black father of three children. My oldest child is my son TJ he is 17 years old and a senior in high school. I plan on sending him to college in the fall locally at Chattanooga state or thirty minutes out to Cleveland state. He has lived with me the majority of his life and I am proud to get him ready on his next journey of life. My second oldest is my daughter Ayla she is ten years old and she lives in Texas with her mother as of recent. I make sure she is taken care of even though we are many miles apart. Lastly, I have my youngest daughter Ivey who is due to be born in December 2021. Her mother and I are together, We have come up with a plan that I will keep her while her mother finishes her degree three hours away. I work full time 7 days a week 12 hours so I will get help from family to watch the baby while I work. I am in need of extra money to help put my fiance through school, send my son through school and pay for his housing if he is to go to Clevland state. My daughter in Texas is a growing girl and I have to make sure she never goes without. I have started a college fund for her and my youngest daughter so they will have the financial resources they'll need when the time comes. I take being a father very seriously, it's my most proud accomplishment. I want my kids to always know I will do everything in my power to make sure they have everything they need, mentally emotionally, and financially. Receiving this money would really put me in a better position for my family.
Please explain how your project meets the requirements of the American Rescue PlanSince COVID has hit many people at my job have quit and I have gone on seven days a week twelve-hour shifts. I caught COVID from my job in September, my whole shift was out but since we were so short-staffed we weren't able to get the proper amount of time to recover. I fell behind on bills the week that I was out and it was hard to catch up completely for a while but I'm back on track now. My son has gone to virtual school because his classmates kept getting COVID and multiple students were being sent home week after week because they had to quarantine. His grades were starting to become affected so I withdrew him from being in person because I didn't want to risk his health or my child mother
