We will coach them to college by providing the following: Strengths assessment/interest assessments One on one Coaching, checking in with scholars weekly/bi-weekly Creating a program of study for High School course selection in order to meet the requirements for college ACT/SAT prep courses Research scholarship opportunities for students Family information sessions on what to expect and how to support your future college student Career Mentoring and shadowing opportunities College Tours We will focus on black and brown students with priority given to males. |
Please explain how your project meets the requirements of the American Rescue Plan | Path to improving economic Vitality in the Black Community While reviewing data produced from the census, we clearly see that black citizens are less educated and have a earning potential significantly lower than white citizens.
