| Please Describe Your Project In Detail | Our project is to open a childcare center in Chattanooga. We want to offer working families and anyone needing childcare, quality care. Early education has always been scarce in Chattanooga. The waitlist for childcare centers can be as long 2 years. Acquiring space and funding for a childcare center location has been difficult. |
| Please explain how your project meets the requirements of the American Rescue Plan | The impact COVID-19 has had on our economy is huge, especially in childcare centers. Childcare centers are not allowing classrooms to be at full capacity because of Covid. This impacts childcare availability to families with young children needing care. |

| Please describe the source and list amounts of any other funding. | The State of Tennessee Establishment Grant will be awarded after initial licensing has been approved. The amount of money given is $1,000 dollars per child in the center for materials and equipment. |

| If successful, how would your project benefit the community? | We would help the community by providing an estimate of 75 childcare spots, 25 jobs, and a reliable and trust worthy business for the city. We want to serve all kinds of residents in all different parts of town by locating ourselves in the downtown/Amnicola area. |

| Is there anything else you would like us to know about your project? | Childcare is such a need in our community and we have a great plan on how to help! We eventually, after the business is up and running for a while, want to offer scholarships for low income families. It is important to start children off with positive and consistent education. We have grown up in Chattanooga and love our community and want to do our part to make it better! |
