| Please Describe Your Project In Detail | The purpose of Rising Phoenix Foundation is to provide alternative sentencing problems for offenders who have been convicted of crimes they have committed as well as half way homes for people who are returning to society from prison. We provide job training, mentorship, as well as drug and alcohol counseling. Our goal are to lower the recidivism rates and help offenders become productive members of society. |

We are a dedicated and experienced group of individuals who committed to stopping violent crimes and drug use in the city of Chattanooga. With the programs we have created we can help with these issues. |

| How long would your project take to complete? | Because of rising violence and drug use, our work will always be needed. |
| What milestones would you use to measure your project’s progress? | We will use the number of participants who complete the program and find stable employment as measurable accomplishment for the foundation. For example our first milestone goal is to help 50 participants find employment. |
| How would you ensure accountability and transparency throughout the project lifecycle? | Because we are hoping to work with our local governments, we are planning to hire outside sources to insure we are doing everything correctly. I also invite any city officials or employees to join our board to insure we continue to go in the right direction. |
| If successful, how would your project benefit the community? | By lowering the recidivism rates, crime rates, and unemployment rates would be a great start. Some long term benefits would be more taxes from working individuals and job creation. |
| How will you attract community buy-in for your project? | With the rising violence in the city of Chattanooga, people are tired of living in fear. We need programs to combat this problem and this is why the Rising Phoenix Foundation was created. |
